Has anyone here ever run Neverspring Frost (5e)?

I recently got gifted a tier 4 adventure called Neverspring Frost where players do heavy politics role play and adventuring in a frozen wasteland full of ice revenants.

Some parts of the adventure to do with factions they can do politics with seem kinda vague and there are some homebrew mechanics to make armies and hordes of monsters easier to run against players, but I’m a little unsure about it.

Has anyone run this? Does it play well?
