Hi, my name is Lorenzo. I’m 25 years old, and I started this fundraiser to ask for help with my difficult situation and my health condition.

I suffer from keratoconus, an eye disease that affects my vision. I already had surgery on my left eye, which is currently at stage 3 out of 4, and thankfully recent check-ups show that the disease does not seem to be getting worse at the moment.

Now I need special custom-made contact lenses. The Italian healthcare system covers part of the total cost of €1,688, but I still have to pay the eye specialist who makes them specifically for me and follows my treatment. I have already paid €200 myself, but I still need help to continue the process.

Unfortunately, because of my vision problems, I am currently unable to drive until I receive these lenses, which I may not have for another two or three months. Living like this makes it very difficult to move around independently and to find stable work. I also suffer from flat pronated feet, which makes physically demanding jobs even harder for me.

For this reason, I am asking for help to continue my financial studies, afford private lessons, pay for these lenses, and manage some large fines that I received during this difficult period.

If you would like to know more about my story and situation, everything is explained better on my GoFundMe page. Thank you sincerely to anyone who reads, shares, or supports me.
