Anyone else experience this?

Hello everyone. So, my 5 year old lately has been wanting to be fed. Like, she wants us to feed her by putting the food in her mouth for her. If I put it in her hand, she may eat it and she may not. She has been eating on her own since she was able to eat solids. She recently had an ear infection and it has gone away after she was prescribed antibiotics. First, it seemed like she wouldn’t eat anything but then as the next week came, she didn’t want to feed herself when she finally got back into wanting to eat. She is autistic and non-verbal if that helps any. She knows how to feed herself and even use a fork and spoon. What is going on? It is very stressful because she will act like she is afraid to touch the food or something by herself. She will open her mouth and want you to put it in her mouth. Has anyone else had this issue after having a sick child? I forgot to mention. she did have some kind of cold right with her ear infection if that also helps. My whole household had this cold or whatever it was but she is the only one who had an ear infection and refused to eat at all or on her own. How do I handle it? I am afraid that if I do not feed her like that, she will not eat and I do not want her to go hungry. Any tips will help!
