Support players: why are so you offended by the "heal bot" title?

So in the matches I’ve been playing lately, I’ve been noticing an uptick of "DPS supports", specifically DPS Luna. Now I know a supports duty is not only healing, but is it their primary one. I had a match the other day with a Luna on my team that was spawn camping the other team the entire match, and when I asked her if she could stop spawn camping and heal her team, she responded with "oh you just want me to be a heal bot?" Well…yes? I’d rather you be a heal bot than be a DPS cosplaying as a support. Point is, I’ve seen a lot of support players get offended by the "heal bot" title, but why?
