School based BCBA help

I am a NJ school based BCBA looking for a new district. It seems like most places require an NJ DOE special services or teaching certification. Is there any way for a BCBA to get this? My background is a bachelors in psychology and masters in ABA. I have the BCBA cert and my NJ LBA license.

Also- are you eligible for tenure, the union, and the pension system?

I was part of all of it in my current role, but new districts are saying that is not possible since I do not have the NJ DOE cert. My current district eliminated the in house BCBA position entirely.
