Like the title says, I’m a bit behind where I wanted to be. I had hoped to finish the body decoration by hour 10, but it’s hour 11 and I’ve only got half the cording in (pictures 1 + 2). That means it will be hour 12 before I fully finish the body. Personally the cord work isn’t *as* good as the first time around. It’s rushed, but it’s passable. Really *good* news though is that my medical appointment today might *not* take the whole day, and I may have 2 ish extra hours to work with.

I’ve decided I want to remake the sleeves (picture 3). That’s about 5-6 extra hours of work, but the old sleeves are slightly discolored, so I’d prefer to make them again. The cufflinks would be another two to three hours still, so those I *will* be stealing from the old costume. They’re dark, so they shouldn’t be stained. I probably do want to wash them to bleed out like I did with the collar to clear any remaining loose dyes though.

Most likely outcome: I finish tomorrow morning with about 3 hours before I have to leave to pick up my friend from the airport. But I can do it. Teto will ride from the ashes of Teto, like a proverbial Teto.

It’s remarkably close-run, but I’m hopeful. Posting here is one of the very few stress relieving things I’ve done in the past few days.

Ruined Teto Cosplay Update: hour 11 of 21. TLDR; fallen slightly behind, but still promising
