Moving to Kanata from Barrhaven, is the commute on the Transitway actually as bad as people say now?

Thinking about moving from Barrhaven to Kanata later this year because of a job change, but I keep hearing mixed things about the commute. Some people say the Transitway connection is still manageable if your hours are flexible, while others say delays and transfers have become frustrating since recent route changes. I’d rather avoid driving every day if possible. Anyone doing this commute for work? Mostly trying to figure out if living in Kanata actually saves time overall or just shifts the frustration somewhere else during weekdays after rush hour.
