How will I know if you love me, or what your life feels like?

You took the time to get to know me only cos you were obliged

I don't know where obligation ends

And relationship has formed

And I wonder if I do love thee

Or talking footy scores

And film scores and other things

We've never had the chance

To test run what it is we have

With freedom for romance

A house on the beach is what I see when I picture you and I

But why have I made a house for us with nothing but my mind?

I know it seems real muddy now
