Slowly working up the courage, but I have technical questions...

I still have more than a little hair. I posted here a bit ago and there were more than a few "Holds" but the majority sentiment was still "you'll still look better bald" and I do think I'd rather be bald than balding.

But I'm lazy. Know thyself right? I'm not going to razor it. I don't even razor my face (bad razor bumps), I use a norelco one twice a week and my beard hides the worst of it. I know I'm not going to keep up with things if it's complicated/difficult. I'm definitely in the buzz-not-bic category. And I know I'll suddenly go from being able to largely ignore my widow's peak and slowly-but-surely growing monkey butt to needing regular maintenance. So it's gotta be easy.

So my question, before I wind up with a "Jobs-not-done" response to my efforts: what real options do I have for buzzing it? How close can it get without being a complete hassle? I'm not one of these 'gods-hidden-under-thinning-hair' that wind up regularly on the front page... I don't think I can get away with boot-camp-hair.
