I don't really know how these selections work tbh. But even i know BCCI isn't this nuts to suddenly make someone out of scene the captain. And if it's happening, let's see how it works out. That's not my problem.

In a nutshell, last few days:-

1) Hardik was absent in the last minute match leading to Surya taking the charge and surprisingly doing 'fair enough' captaincy and winning. I did not watch the match but from what I have seen on reddit and youtube, mi fans wanted surya to captain further.

2) Surya became a father for the first time and this must be one of his happiest times in life.

3) Toi reports of Surya's removal and shreyas becoming the next t20i captain for India followed by huge hate coming to Surya.

Look in general i think tho Surya is a good captain and out of form, injury affected batsman, he surely will have to pass the baton to someone else. And the news may be true but the way it has been carried out is purely insensitive.

It may be true but one can not unsee the amount of pr happening from other's side. It's so visible. Different fans hate him for different reasons. He doesn't really enjoy a good fan support if you think. So yeah there has been alot of hate in his way since last year.

Criticism is justified, that too when he isn't in his form but the sheer disrespect and hatred is weird and saddening, which multiplied after wc and is peaking today.

I'm an ict fan>>>> surya fan but if this is the way we treat our players then what are we?

Tldr: stop this hate for god's sake and let him have a human moment. My respect for shreyas has definitely reduced because of his pr. He may be an amazing player, a even better captain but on a human level.......

If its true, let it be. Couldn't the headlines, the pr have been postponed a few more days? This is insensitive.
