What do I do against zoners?

I've seen a few posts on this, but nobody really seems to have a real answer other than "get good" or swapping to a zoner to counter them. I typically play Nolan/Anissa/Lucan with some Nolan/Anissa/Conq, and a good Cecil or Powerplex just does not let me get a hit in. Super dash just gets intercepted, they can attack first if I come in from the top, armor abilities like Conquest's charge are super heavily broadcast and just get blocked from that range, and if I do get close they usually just use an assist counter and knock me over so they can start another combo. I can kick the shit out of most of my buddies when they're on melee characters, but the second someone brings out Cecil or Powerplex there's just nothing I can do. Any tips? I don't really play many fighting games, I played a bit of MK10 and Injustice back when it came out, but other than that the closest I get is Sifu. I can get the combos, but the movement isn't something I've fully cracked yet.
