Hi everyone! This is my Samantha, and unfortunately she is my least favorite doll and I hate that. She was passed down from my sister, which I think has something to do with it since she wasn’t originally mine. I just have no bond with her. She sits on the shelf the longest, I don’t change her clothes or do her hair. The only thing I own from her collection is her meet dress, which maybe that influences how I feel too. She just doesn’t feel as “grand” as other people’s Samantha’s do. She’s boring in comparison to my other dolls. I also think because JLY 13 was my first doll, and they look similar, I was just always closer with JLY 13. I’ve had Sam for 14 years, and she’s probably close to 25 years old.

I don’t want to do any major restoration since she’s a part of my original collection, but I need something to change. I tried wetting her hair and rolling it in curlers, but that didn’t hold. I’m not that good at hair beyond braiding 😅 I just want her to be freshened up and find a way to like her

Also, if I take her to the store salon, would they be able to do her original hairstyle? Or, if I sent her to the hospital, would they be able to just restore her hair? Her hair is also dry as you can see. I just don’t want anything replaced or limbs tightened or anything like that.

Any advice?

Help me bond with my Sam
