Banning Hybrid Working

We are currently looking to move house. We’ve found an amazing property that ticks every box except distance from my work. ~85 miles one way

My works target is 3 days a week in office, but due to how spread out my specific team is, we just need to be in for team meetings and in person discussions so it’s about once a week and this works for all and is accepted. I get considerably more done at home anyway.

I’m aware that the political landscape can change and note that the polls suggest reform may get in at the next GE. If this is the case I’ve also seen they want to scrap working from home and hybrid working, something my office would struggle to support as it does have the space, anyway! I’ve seen they haven’t stuck to this in the councils they’ve won. .

We love the house but I’m concerned the travel would be unsustainable if it moved to 5 days in office a week. Just looking for other people’s thoughts please?
