finally got 4 business class seats together after 4 months. here's what actually worked for our family.

after 4 months searching for our family of 4 (kids 7 and 10), i found 4 ANA business class seats JFK-NRT and booked them before they disappeared. shaking while typing this.

what worked:

1. switched to a tool that filters by minimum seat count so i wasn't wasting time on 1-2 seat results

2. expanded date flexibility to any day in a 3-week window instead of specific dates

3. checked at 7am and 11pm apparently when airlines push availability updates

4. had my loyalty program login open in an adjacent tab at all times. book before you breathe.

this hobby needs better tooling. but it's possible.
