Can I join indian army after eardrum surgery??

Hey I am 19 years old and i want to join the Indian Army but the problem is my right ear's ear drum is damaged so I want to know if I get an operation before going for army physical checkups will I be selected? Because after operation there will be so many stitches behind my ear so can anybody help me ?
