How to love myself?

Hi, I wanted to share a little background on myself before jumping into my question. I’m 17 years old. I originally came out at 14 as pansexual, though I later realized I’m bisexual. I’ve also been struggling with gender dysphoria since I was 15 and know that I am a trans woman (it still feels scary to admit that I've only said it one time out loud); however, I’m still figuring out how to navigate that within the Church.

I attend services regularly, but I’ve decided to stop attending the second hour for now. I feel like my fellow youth (in both YM and Sunday School) are very homophobic and transphobic. Whenever I’m in the second hour or Sacrament meeting, I experience physical pain in my chest and stomach due to gender dysphoria. Some days, it feels so intense that I just want to tear off my skin.

That’s some background on me. Luckily, I have a super supportive mom who has been helping me navigate this. We’ve talked, and I’ve come to realize that I don’t actually feel God's love. I know He loves me because it just makes sense He is a perfect being who created us, so why wouldn’t He love us? But with this battle of not feeling like I'm in the right skin, how am I supposed to feel that love for me?

My mom suggested I try praying to Him like I’m just talking to a friend and asking Him to show me His love, but that honestly just feels awkward. I don't know what to do.

Now a couple questions I have if you could just answer 1 or multiple that would be great:

Has anyone else felt this awkwardness when trying to connect with God? If you’ve struggled to feel His love while dealing with dysphoria, how did you handle it?

For those of you who stayed in the church, how do you handle the comments from other members? Is it okay to just stick to Sacrament meeting for my own mental health?

I guess I’m just looking for some advice or to hear from anyone who has been in a similar spot. It feels lonely being 17 and dealing with this.
