Grungy, gritty post Cold War sounds
I love a particular sound in music is hard to describe. But if I could picture it, it would be a grey concrete brutalist building.
I will try to explain as best as I can. Basically these songs have a very raw and gritty sound and feels post Soviet era or Russian underground kinda vibes. They feel very influenced by dystopia or post cold war themes. There is often a very distinct bass sound and slightly monotonous singing. With some artists it can be more electronic but it still harnesses the cold dystopian feeling.
Some example songs or artist are Lebanon Handover, Territory by The Blaze, The KVB, True Love by Otzeki. A perfect example would be Molchat Doma.
If anyone has similar recommendations I would love to hear them!
