He ghosted me for my… cousin?

Needless to say, my ego is bruised lol but I met this guy on Hinge. And found out him and a guy cousin of mine used to be really good friends in high school. So we were texting, calling, FaceTimeing back-and-forth for a month before we finally met in person. We had a quick coffee date and during the date he repeatedly**(!!!)** brought up going out for drinks the next day unprompted [by me]. I agreed and he even went as far as to asking me how long it takes to get ready so he can set a time.

To make a long story medium, he never reached out after that coffee date lol and this is my first time ever being ghosted so my ego is really really bruised. He’s an attractive guy, but what really bothered me is that I had texted him the next morning and he just never responded.

A week later, I was out with a friend and one of my cousins went to some party I initially planned on going to, but decided against. Turns out the guy was there, and my cousin took a picture of him chatting up one of our family friends. I was so annoyed that she had sent that picture because I was finally starting to get over him and that just sent me back down the rabbit hole. She had also told me he was flirting really hard with her….. A week later I noticed they began following each other on Instagram.

I just need positive words and advice to help me get over this again. 😵‍💫

And I know he doesn’t owe me a response because we didn’t know each other but a small little message would’ve been nice ya know or something especially since he knows a part of my family?
