Could copying DnD 5.5 True Strike be useful?

Discussion

DND 5.0 True Strike was an utter disaster. Making it a Cantrip meant the other conditions had to be so bad, it was almost useless.

5.5 True Strike is a very different matter however. It effectively generalized the "use Casting Attribute for weapon attacks" thing:

> Guided by a flash of magical insight, you make one attack with the weapon used in the spell’s casting. The attack uses your spellcasting ability for the attack and damage rolls instead of using Strength or Dexterity. If the attack deals damage, it can be Radiant damage or the weapon’s normal damage type (your choice).

And I wonder if that might be a useful addition for PF2?

A 1 Action Cantrip. No Manipulate. That compares spell attack roll to AC. And deals the weapons normal damage. Maybe Critical Specialisation on higher levels too?

There is something comparable in Hand of the Apprentice for the Universalist Wizard. So I wonder how much weaker this Cantrip would have to be?

Name wise I am thinking "Guided Strike" or something like that.
