Should I buy Sony Headphone ?

I was thinking to buy headphone for years now, But broken hidge kept me away from buying it, I use earjack, as it best and affortable option for me, not a big earbud fan, I know that earjack often by time be able to listen only one side but I don't need to pay alot and found that my hidge have broken.

my question is Do buying Sony headphone good option ?, I'm worry about the hidge because that price is not that cheap, i'm ready to pay alot. but I want it to last. Do new version X6 something, good ?

I grow up with Sony product and always like it wether is PSP or Sony TV.
