Hi i'm Devin. I have a traumatic brain injury and disabilities. A group of teenagers attacked me in the street while people stood around recording it for social media.

They broke my nose and fractured my cheek bone. I ended up in the ICU and after that I had to go into psych care because this whole thing really messed me up bad mentally and emotinally.

I dont really feel safe around people anymore.

My mom tried posting about what happened on Reddit before and people started attacking HER like she did something wrong. it is not my moms fault happened to me. i wanted to be around my friends and we were doing drugs so i couldnt stay at her house because i have a little brother. I hate that because my mom is the one trying to help me survive all this. She’s been there every day helping me when I couldnt even function right after what happened. I told her to use chatgpt to make a poster that could show kind of what i looked like when i was in the hospital. people said she was a scammer for this and attacked her even more. I am now 100% off of drugs and i dont talk to anyone i used to talk to.

Some people online are really cruel and dont understand what its like living with a disability and then getting beat up for other peoples entertainment.

The same people who attacked me got arrested for homicide not long after what happened to me. Thats scary to think about honestly.

Right now we are trying to get help with housing, rides, medical stuff, and a lawyer for disability benifits because I cant handle all this alone.

Even sharing this helps alot.

Thank you for reading about me.
