As someone deeply interested in Advaita Vedanta, I noticed that the texts felt fragmented and study tools were hard to come by.

Important texts are scattered among PDFs and old websites. Moreover, scripture is rarely displayed in a way that demonstrates interconnectedness in a meaningful way. This project is an attempt to increase the accessibility of scripture while providing an interface which communicates that interconnectedness.

Currently the Brahma Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, core Upanishads, and select Prakarana Granthas are available for viewing. Most texts are paired with (public domain) commentary, along with a media library, a Similar Texts feature for finding verses related to the selected verse, and an early connections portion: [shastram.org/connections](http://shastram.org/connections), offering the opportunity to view the direct overlap between texts.

We are still in our infancy, and would love community involvement. Suggestions on general improvement, resolving inaccuracies/inconsistencies, and contributions of translation, commentary, and text would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, or know anyone who would be able to help increase the breadth and depth of the site, please let me know contact@shastram.org.

Thank you so much for reading!
