A little background, I’ve had some water pressure/flow issues at my house for years. It wasn’t ever bad enough to get a pro to look at it until I started getting serious about my lawn after watching Ryan Knorr’s YT channel. Last year I tried making a rainbird 5000 series daisy chain system and after much troubleshooting, and even swapping to all 3/4” hoses, I could barely get two sprinkler heads to rise, and they weren’t pumping out enough water to functionally water the lawn. Not to mention if someone flushed a toilet inside one of the heads would drop back down. Fast forward to this year and I have had a plumber come out and replace the pressure regulator valve and it’s made an incredible difference! I can now run 3 sprinkler heads at a time and accurately build my irrigation zones. My concern now is that if I hook up this timer, is it going to restrict pressure/flow so much that I can’t daisy chain 3 heads together? Does anyone have some experience/advice on this? Not necessarily with this particular timer, but in general with timers. TIA

TLDR: does running a 4 zone timer restrict pressure/flow so much that I can’t run more than 2 sprinkler heads at a time?
