Are dating apps worth it and if so, which?
So, I(22M) have been going through pretty hard breakup earlier this year but I believe that I'm finally ready to at least get to know someone who I could potentially build a relationship with. I am pretty bad when it comes to overcoming my fears of pushing things further and I have a lot of blockades irl. My self-assessment has, surprisingly, risen in the last months, I've been working on myself a lot and I realised a lot of things about myself thanks to psychologist and I feel really good thanks to that. But it's just so stressful for me to meet new people and then even harder it is to push the relationship further. So I've been thinking, wouldn't the dating apps work better for me. I have never liked them, because I believe they are making products out of people and it looks like you're shopping for someone. But well, I don't want to be alone so I kinda have to do something to change it.
I'm extremely nerdy, very affectionate, I have very deep interests and I love sharing them with someone. I would want someone who likes sharing their interests too and has passions. Is it achievable on dating apps? And which ones are better?
