Book Covers

I know this will be an unpopular take given some of the comments I've read since joining the sub but I have FOMO seeing everyone with their new books and I need to vent... I really enjoy and prefer the Audible book covers to those used for the physical books. I really want to buy the books to read (vs listen) at some point, but if we're keeping it 💯, I haven't because I hate the current covers so much I don't want them on my shelf. They are just so gauche (iykyk) imo. Does anyone know why the covers changed when the books went into mass production?
