What’s the status with Legacy Kollection?

Hey all, I’m getting back into an MK phase and I remember the legacy kollection existing. Does jt still have the input delay like on release? I remember people saying it was miserable to play especially online (I won’t be playing it online as much mainly local play). It’s currently full price on the Xbox store so I’m going to wait until it drops, but knowing how playable it is would lead me to decide on how much I’m willing to pay yk. Thank you all :)
