Can I get free shipping when purchasing a new stationary concrete plant?
I’ve been looking into whether you can actually get free shipping when buying a new stationary
concrete batching plant, and honestly it feels like one of those “depends on the deal” situations
more than a fixed rule.
I remember visiting a small construction supplier yard where they were negotiating a plant order,
and the shipping cost alone was almost as big a talking point as the machine itself like cranes,
containers, port charges, all that stuff adds up fast. That’s kinda what made me curious about
how pricing really works for these heavy setups.
From what I’ve seen, most stationary plants are usually quoted as FOB or CIF, meaning
shipping is often separate or bundled depending on the seller and destination. Some suppliers
do offer “free shipping” promos, but usually that’s more like included logistics cost baked into the
machine price rather than truly free transport.
When you scroll through listings on Alibaba, it’s actually pretty useful for comparing options
because a lot of suppliers clearly mention whether shipping is included, negotiable, or estimated
separately but it can still feel a bit all over the place when every listing has different terms and
conditions.
So I’m left wondering… is free shipping on these big plants actually something you can
realistically negotiate, or is it mostly just a marketing phrase hiding the real logistics cost
underneath?
