Parents raising selfish kids

I’m really disturbed by many parents and adults on TikTok.

There’s a huge trend of parents saying “my kids don’t have to share.” I’m sorry, but this is disturbing.
Gee, no wonder so many kids turn out bad.

Listen kids should be taught to share, but with boundaries. If they share with a kid that refuses to share with them in return. That should be stopped immediately.

If a kid has two sandwiches and if they see a classmate forgot their food then sharing is allowed. If the other kid is demanding the bag of cookies from the kid when they were already given a sandwich that’s not okay.

But if that kid keeps forgetting his lunch and stuff then that’s not okay!

Teach your kids friendships need to go both ways. If your friend gives you a cookie, you bring them a cookie the next day.

Only share if the situation is right. Kids do not have to share all the time. I repeat kids do not have to share all the time! Generosity and selfishness. Those two go together, but there needs to be a balance. You don’t have to share all the time.

Gee, no wonder most of the people I met were selfish. I was doing most of the sharing. I get nothing in return.
