We replaced half our training videos with interactive guides. Completion went up.

Our training library was 60+ videos. Polished. Professional. Nobody watched them.

Completion rate on training videos: 34%. And of those who "completed," half were playing videos in a background tab.

We didn't have budget to redo everything. So we picked our 10 most important training modules and converted them to a different format: interactive step-by-step guides using Trupeer. You don't watch. You do.

Same content. Different delivery.

Completion rate on the interactive guides: 78%. And we can actually verify completion because they had to click through the actual steps, not just play a video.

We're not anti-video. Video is great for concepts and context. But for procedures—"how to do X"—interactive beats passive.

Now we use video for "why we do it this way" and interactive guides for "how to do it." Different tools for different learning needs
