Costco turned consintration camp

Costco is out of control. If you haven't been to Costco in the last few years prepair to be shocked. The environment has now become hostile by the employees. They treat you like a prisoner that should be honored ro shop at their store.

It starts the moment you walk in. They scan your card and large photo pops up on a huge screen with an ID profile.

I understand wanting to maximize profits by making sure every member has their own card and not using a friend's card, but this is extreme.

I had to pee last time I was there so I used the bathroom and walked to the flower section. The moment I picked up a bouquet a team member was there and asked me to scan my membership card.

They were watching me the whole time...

Compare this to Sam's club. They don't even require you to show your card anymore when entering.

Sams club employees are friendly and seem to be way less stressed. That used to be how Costco was, but now everything has changed.

I have had a membership with both Costco and Sam's club for 17 years. It seems like every time I decide to go to Costco for something there is an incident.

Last time I was at Costco I was in the check out line and my daughter was having a melt down so my wife took her to the food court so calm her down. My wife has the credit cart attached to her membership card so she handed me her card to pay and finish checking out. The cashier saw this, saw my wife hand me her card and watched as my daughter was screaming.

Then the cashier proceeded to tell me that they couldn't complete the transaction because I wasn't the person on the card that I was using to check out.

Costco has become a nightmare to deal with. I can't be the only one that is having these experiences.
