Helper in Wiesbaden

Hey everyone, local Wiesbadener here

I’m trying to understand the biggest challenges Americans face when PCSing to Wiesbaden/Clay Kaserne.

If you’ve moved here recently, what were the hardest or most frustrating parts of settling into Germany?

I know how frustrating German bureaucracy can be😅

I’m considering creating a relocation support service for U.S. military families and DoD civilians and would love honest feedback on what would actually be useful.

Even small things count:

- housing

- paperwork

- internet/mobile setup

- transportation

- German contracts

- shopping

- schools/kita

- translation help

- daily life in Germany
