Dave Murray: Maiden asked Nirvana to tour with them

(If he remembers correctly) But Nirvana said Maiden is too old for them. I wonder what year this would have Been? After 91 it made no sense for Nirvana to support anyone. I think this would have worked great, to me Nirvana was a helluva live band since Dave Grohl joined and good before Dave too. Kurt was like an animal on stage in The Early days ,showman and 100% passion. Nice contrast between Maidens metal and Eddie stuff and Nirvanas stripped down style. This was mentioned on Burning Ambition documentary.
