Not getting XP from killing Magisters in hidden alcove shipwreck — also need an Incarnate stat growth table

Hi — I killed Magisters at the hidden alcove shipwreck while helping Daeyena but didn't get any XP (I did get 100 XP for talking to her). I’m level 3 and too weak to fight other Magisters, so I don’t know if this applies to them. Killing NPCs also didn’t yield XP when I checked, but the amphibians in the caves did — what’s up with that?

Also: does anyone have a level-by-level table for Incarnate stats? My Incarnate’s Vitality is still only 24 at Summoning level 5. I posted about a possible bug with low Vitality before and felt embarrassed to ask again. I haven't progressed much in the game, but I’ll continue playing if I’m not forced to restart because of a bug — any help would be appreciated.
