Accidentally Synced My Dad's Edge 1040

Hello,

I accidentally synced my dad's 1040 to my Garmin account and now I've unlocked a bunch of badges and all of his activities synced to my account. I've managed to delete all of the activities but the badges are still there.

Has anyone come across this? I'm guessing the only way to remove the badges is to reach out to Garmin support?
