DIY upgrade ideas?

I have a 2013 Ultra and recently upgraded the stereo to the new Soundstream. This upgrade makes the factory headset plugs useless. What has everyone done with the rider and passenger plug? Anyone successfully replaced them with a USB plug? Before I completely commit to removing them, I’d like to hear some useful ideas.
