7.4.11 and Transparent FWs

Hi all,

Just recently upgraded from 7.2.11 to 7.4.11 on one of my transparent fws and the upgrade immediately bricked the fw (stopped processing all traffic).

Opened a case with Fortinet, they told me theirs a bug with 7.4.11 and transparent fws, not specific to any particular physical hardware models. They told me the bug doesn't exist on 7.4.8 and told me to downgrade. I downgraded to 7.4.8 but still the same issues. I then downgraded back to 7.2.11 and immediately all traffic resumed and all is fine again.

The case is still sitting with Fortinet, no updates for a week, it's with their engineering team. I'm just curious if anyone else has run in to this and if theirs any solution for it? From my debug logs inspected, I was seeing traffic accepted on the fw and forwarded accordingly out of the correct egress interface but all traffic was getting reset by the servers. As soon as we went back to 7.2.11, no more server resets, all applications and services were back online.
