Question regarding the upcoming Zivildienst vote

I was having a conversation about the Zivildienst vote, which led me to some questions that I thought I could ask here: What was the reason for you (who changed into Zivi) to do it, and did you have this "Gewissensbiss" when you changed? And what was the reason you changed? I assume many do it since they can better plan/coordinate with their work.

And my last question is, do you perceive the right to change into Zivildienst kind of as selbstverständlich even without having the Gewissenskonflikt?

So I'm not interested in hearing what is bad about the military and good about Zivi, really just about how you perceive the situation and your Beweggründe if that makes sense for you? :)
