Update won't start in Riot Client

Problem: Clicking the update button doesnt work. After it loads for a while, it just comes back to the update button.

Fix: On the right corner of the Riot client, click your profile picture -> settings -> turn off "Enable auto-update" -> (optional step) repair

I've been having this bug for quite a while now and I somehow managed to stumble on this fix, so i wanted to share the word !
