Please tell me it gets "better" again
For the most part I like a good prologue in games that catches your attention, but it can't be too good because then it feels like that 1 scene in adventure time "if just being born is the greatest act of creation then what are you supposed to do after that? Isn't everything that comes next a dissapointment". Unless with certain game that just keeps upping the ante. So I prefer good but not too good intro so that other moments can make you have a stronger emotional reaction. I am 15 hours in exploring and just reached the Gestral village. The game is still a 10/10 so I guess what I am asking is, is the prologue the most emotional/interesting/consuming part of the game, or will things happen later on that are not only of similar emotional intensity but surpass it even?
I am in no way shape or form shitting on the game don't get me wrong. Other games had similar structure and I didn't mind as I enjoyed them. However THE INTRO MADE ME FEEL THINGS I DIDN'T KNOW I COULD FEEL(last game to do that to me was nier automata ending) so everything now feels low stakes and dissapointing because I feel like a person that fried its dopamine receptors with heroin or amphetamines, and everything that should be enjoyable gets compared to that peak and is lessened or unable to be felt.
