What couchsurfing has that bewelcome, couchers don't

Team,

While it is healthy to keep ranting about how soulless and empty the new design is, I would like to start a brainstorming thread, what does couchsurfing has(except the huge awesome community) that other alternatives don't, maybe, we can find out how to prioritize certain features to be implemented in bewelcome and couchers, in my case I think about two things already:

Couchsurfing has events and many subscribers

Couchsurfing has been promoted by many travel vloggers, can't bewelcome, couchers do the same or travel vloggers are only looking for profit?

I remember and I am friends with many travel vloggers l couchsurfing, I will try to rzaxh out to them to understand where do they stand, why do they keep using couchsurfing and not the other alternatives

Let me knl, your thoughts
