What are some examples of mad scientists that actually care about their weird genetic experiments and treat them well?

Like, if I was in that sort of situation, I would be like "Look, we are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to transform these people into bioweapons. We literally have a woman who we mutated so that she can turn her arms into scythes. I personally don't want my head to be cut off by her, so the least that we can do is treat them well so that they don't want to do that."
