Trying to reduce tool switching. Is that one AI tool actually enough to make workflow?
I did not think this would bother me this much, but switching between tools started to feel like the actual work. Like, I would have an idea, then open one tool for images, another for editing, and something else for video. By the time everything was ready, I had already lost momentum.
So recently, I tried doing something different. Instead of stacking tools, I wanted to see if I could just keep everything in one place, even if the output was not perfect.
I tested one of those AI tools that can generate images and also turn them into short videos. Nothing too serious, I just wanted to see if it could handle a basic workflow without me jumping around too much. At first, it felt a bit weird because I am used to having more control. The outputs were not always consistent either. Some results actually looked really good, while others felt off or needed fixing.
But one thing I did notice… the process felt lighter.
I was not constantly context switching. I could stay in the same flow, from idea to visual to video. That alone saved more time than I expected. And for quick content, it was honestly “good enough” most of the time.Still not sure if this approach works long term though. I feel like you lose some control compared to using separate tools, but you gain speed and simplicity.
Right now, I am kind of in between.
Now I am thinking.
Do you prefer using one tool for your whole workflow or do you still rely on multiple tools for better control? And at what point does “all-in-one” actually become worth it?
Here is the tool which i have tried
