Does anyone else feel trapped in, London when working for public services a a single person

Like teaching nhs post transport workers We get a London weighting

I feelike the hcas is what is allowing me to plan for my future but God forbid I want to get a house outside London then my salary drops by over 5 grand.

I'm not saying that's bad because I'll have a house.

but let's say I just want to move to a lcol area to rent, it's still won't allow me to save for the future as I am right now!
