I had a 40' tree cut down last year, new fence, shingles, downspouts fixed and it's time to redo the landscaping and slope.

I set my laser to be level at the very top of the driveway surface at the bottom of the stairs. I also verified the level line on the side of the staircase with a 2' level and it's accurate.
Seems straightforward to make my slope start just above the laser line on the house and have it drain towards garage.

The area by the gas meter/fence is my question. Would my best bet to begin sloping the grade so water goes towards the fence at the start of the gas meter? The parging height changes in that area and I'm not sure which way they intended and the window well wood is at that odd angle. My drainage system is 2 downspouts into the municipal storm drain.

Also where the driveway is cracked, is that DIY'able to jack up and level if I can get underneath or should I avoid that battle and just get a mudjack?
