big boobs and sensory issues
hi fellow adhders,
TLDR: i can’t find clothes that support my big boobs, look cute and don’t aggravate my sensory issues!! styles/ brands to try/ any suggestions from people with similar experience pls!!
I’m 28 and a late-identified adhder (not yet formally diagnosed). I finally realised i have adhd about a year ago and it has explained soooo much - something i’m sure many of you have experienced. However I’ve also experienced a great deal of regression and one major area is overstimulation from clothes. I’m femme with pink hair and love to wear bright colours and playful styles. Expressing myself through outfits has always brought me a lot of joy, but now clothing has become a source of daily stress. I’m really struggling to find my style now that my needs have changed.
On top of this, I have gained weight since being on the correct medication to manage my PMDD (which I see as a huge win as I am much happier and more stable, so no weight loss advice please!) and my boobs have gotten way bigger. It turns out having big boobs brings a whole new set of sensory challenges (bra = bad/ no bra = also bad).
I’m trying to create a new wardrobe for myself that I will feel good in with my new body shape and which will reduce the stress i feel in my clothes. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions from adhd girlies with similar experience. Tips for going braless with big boobs? Brands that make comfortable but supportive tops or bras?
thanks x
