Whats with the random downvotes? (Rant)

I've seen posts randomly getting downvoted for absolutely no reason, even if they're just asking for offers, trying to show something off that they're proud of, or just asking a basic question. As well as comments.

Instead of people replying to the questions with answers, ignoring posts they can't offer on, or educate someone that might be wrong in worths, people downvote.

I've had posts with literally just the name 'wc or wrc offers' and it got downvoted without it even having any asked worths in? I'm just looking for offers, not demanding a forest for my count fab bats.

I know some redditors are just petty or can't trade/afford an item some people are posting but downvoting their post is useless and unfair to the person who's just trying to get offers on their items. It nerfs their post to get even less attention, and might not help them in the way they're needed to be helped (ex; worths).

Can't we just go on with our days, leave people alone to get their offers or help instead of randomly hating on them for no reason?🥹
