How's remote play with the new controller?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried remote play with the steam controller? I recently build a living room PC made for streaming games from my main PC. I was going to go with another dualsense, but I tested it with my current dualsense and remote play doesn't work. On local games my dualsense works like it should. But when streaming my dualsense doesn't talk to my main PC.

So with the steam controller coming I figure that would be a good alternative. But in none of the reviews I have seen or in a google search have I seen anyone talk about remote play. I heard there's some issues with xinput. (which is why the dualsense doesn't work from what I found.) so I'm worried Valve overlooked remote play.

There's alot of people that just assumes it will work. But I also assumed my Dual Sense would work because of Steam Input and it doesn't. I can't drop $100 plus tax on an assumption.

Has anyone tested remote play or can give remote play a test and get back with me?
