Cima with no degree

​

I am a grade 11 student living in South Africa, I've been looking into CIMA for a while now and if been wanting to know if it's better for me to start CIMA straight after I matriculate/finish high school or if I should get a degree/diploma in something like finance or accounting first?

Will I regret not getting a degree first or is it smarter to go straight into CIMA and start with the certificate level?

Can anyone help me?
