Most Satisfying Projects

What are your most satisfying projects?

I’ll list a few of mine:

- Overclock of my old 10850k (5.0GHz all-core)

- Boring holes in the front panel of my Thermaltake V200 case. This dropped CPU temps by 15-20C.

- Swapping the stock fan on my Sonnet EGPU enclosure with a Noctua fan and replacing the obstructive mesh with a grill. Then I undervolted the RX 5700 XT inside to get temps under control. Now stable at 70C in benchmarks.

- liquid metal on my rtx 3050 laptop. This allowed for +200MHz on the core.

- Adding thermal pads to GPU backplates. This usually drops VRAM temps nicely and turns the backplate into a frying pan.

- Adding VRM heatsinks to cheap motherboards so they can accommodate better CPUs.
