Interactions between characters are VERY formulaic and predictable

SpoilerOpinion:snoo_thoughtful:

I feel like theres a cicle of

  1. Something supernatural/weird happens to Character X

  2. Character X says some variation of "okay/its fine" and hides it because he feels " no one will believe it"

  3. Character X explodes emotionally or something happens where others discover it.

At some point this gets very annoying and you start thinking that by this point everyone should be ok with supernatural things happening and establish a policy that everything has to be told so they can work together. Also, why not create a centralized "investigation" bureau where they collect everything that everyone knows about the Place and work towards a deeper understanding?

Also the character development is just not the strong part of this show. Im in Season 3 Episode 8, and in the first episode of the first season Boyd was the stubborn guy who takes on the responsibility of everything to himself and feels like he has to save everyone. In the current episode, Boyd is... the stubborn guy who takes on the responsibility of everything to himself and feels like he has to save everyone. If thats the shows most important character, imagine the rest? I really like From for the mistery, its a very fun series to watch and im hooked, but as someone who loves Lost and went into this because of parallels to it and people involved, it just cant compare in character development
